In the jungle, the mighty jungle...

Even alligators don't eat hippos, so you probably shouldn't either. Fortunately, these animals are handmade out of the highest quality gourmet white chocolate, so they can be enjoyed without guilt! And they're probably far more delicious. ;)

Arts For All

Here at Select Confections, we're a proud supporter of a number of organizations (more on this to come later, we promise!). Several of our dear friends and associates (the wonderful Anna and Alan Ostroff, producers of the Infinity Theatre Company and the fantastic "Captain" Robin Cannon) serve on the board of Arts for All, a non-profit arts outreach organization that serves children between four and nineteen years of age. Who Are We?

Select Confections is the D.C. metropolitan area’s original ice cream bakery! Located in the heart of Annapolis, Maryland, we opened our doors eighteen months ago—and ever since then it’s been nothing short of a thrill ride. Thank you!

We started out specializing in ice cream and custom cakes, but ever since, we’ve expanded our product line to include everything from sorbet and frozen yogurt to pfeffernüsse—and it’s still always, always growing. Follow us for exclusive offers, giveaways, fun ideas, and (of course) pictures of what we’ve been up to.

No event or occasion is too big or too small. We do custom desserts for everything from weddings and corporate events for five hundred to small children’s birthday parties for a dozen. Our ice cream is available at convenience stores in Annapolis and at farmer’s markets in the District of Columbia.

We believe in being a company with a conscience. We’re family owned and operated, and we do multiple charity events every month. We never use artificial flavors or ingredients. We’re vegan friendly (and use local and organic ingredients whenever available!), we work to support the local arts scene and causes we believe in, and we’re constantly looking for new ways to give back!
